Starting in January 2011, IPE (a new cohesion of awop and rpg events) and The Circus Casino, Blackpool will be hosting a 2-day, monthly £100+£10 MegaStack tournament. Players start with a whopping 20,000 chips on a 40 minute clock, fully dealer dealt on 9 handed tables with a player cap of 72 max on each day. After the first event in January players will be able to choose starting day 1a (Friday 8pm) or 1b (Saturday 8pm) with the final being played on Sunday at 2pm. There will be 12 games throughout the year and players will accumulate points along the way creating a leader board, each month 5% from the prizepool will be retained until the 12th game has been played in December 2011. After the final game the top 9 players will each take a percentage of the retained money (100% will be paid out) in reflection of their finishing positions.

The top 9 players on a Sunday will get paid (if there's more than 100 players then we will pay 10% of the field, the winner is guaranteed 34% minimum).

Each player will receive 10 points for playing and extra points for making the final table.

There will not be any long dinner breaks on days 1a or 1b as we want to get down to the final 9 or level 12 (whichever comes sooner) but there will be complimentary Sunday lunch for all players that make it through to the final day at approx 5:30pm.

Each starting day's play will cease when 9 players remain or we reach the end of level 12. All remaining players will return on Sunday at 2pm and play will continue until we have a winner.
Each entry receives 10 points for playing and everyone who makes it to the final table will receive extra points. Points are accumulated over 12 games creating a leader board. Extra points are available if you qualify online or win a live satellite seat.
5% from each monthly prizepool is retained towards the leader board and after the 12th game in December the top 9 players will receive a percentage of the retained money reflecting their finishing position. (100% of retained cash is paid out).
