Venue #2 announced for a £200 MegaStack.
IPE Announce the Second Venue in the Mega Stack Series
Following on from our initial Mega Stack event at the Circus Casino in Blackpool, Independent Poker Events –www.ipeuk.com are delighted to announce the second venue in the Mega Stack Series.
The Mint Casino in Salford, Manchester will host a £200 + £20 NLHE Freeze out and the inaugural event will be held over the weekend of April 9th and 10th and on the second weekend of every month thereafter. As against two starting days, as is the case at Blackpool, IPE will be holding two Tiers for players on one day, Saturday 10th of April. This means players will have the choice of playing Tier One which will begin at 12 noon and conclude at 6-30pm OR Tier Two starting at 8pm and finishing at 2-30am on Sunday morning. The remaining players will return on the Sunday at 2pm to play to a conclusion. Yet again player comfort and enjoyment will be central to the event, with 9 handed tables the venue will have a capacity of 81 players on each Tier with a potential Prize Pool in excess of £32,000.
All the standard structures which have been refined throughout the first three Mega Stack events at Blackpool will be applied in Manchester with a 20k starting stack on a thirty minute clock. Full details can be found on the website www.ipeuk.com In addition the Mint Casino Mega Stack will have its very own Leader board competition (see website for full details). Live and Online satellite qualification with guaranteed seats to be held on both Genting and Circus Poker will give players the opportunity to qualify for a fraction of the actual buy-in. Again full details of all Sats will be available on the website. IPE have engaged with www.thenutz.tv to provide a full Live Webcast on the Final day which can also be viewed on IPE TV along with Twitter and Facebook updates throughout!!!

We started with 64 players tonight, there's 29 registered so far for tomorrow. I haven't been given any updates this evening but just spoke to Rick, it's now level 10 1,000/2,000 ra200 27 players left, average stack is 47,000 RG currently has 10 x bb and it's time to shove!

Game day!
Good morning sports fans,
Today sees the start of MegaStack Event #3 and the long awaited £10,000 Guarantee. With only a 72 player cap on day 1a and then on day 1b (tomorrow) we've managed 28 online registrations and roughly 10 live buy-ins so far for tonight's game. (I will update this as soon as I get word from the casino). See the twitter feed for an accurate count. I'm pleased to tell you that the new Genting chip set has arrived as promised and will be making it's début appearance tonight. You want new tables, we give them to you! You want new chips, we give them to you! you want guaranteed prize money, we give it to you, NOW GO OUT THERE AND WIN SOME!!!!
Just to recap, the buy-in is £100+£10 for a massive 20,000 chip starting stack and a long flat 30 minute blind structure to see you through day 1a. Play will cease after level 12 (2,000/4,000 ra400).
